Ruin
A downloadable game for Windows
Humans invade an alien planet, destroy enemy hordes, and save humanity.
Ruin is a first-person shooter with 90’s inspired graphics where a soldier is on a mission to colonize space.
FIRST-PERSON SHOOTER
It’s a fast paced DOOM-like with an upgrade system and expansive levels. Face multiple enemy types and test player skill in the arena area.
RETRO GRAPHICS
Ruin takes inspiration from shooters from the 90’s. Features 2.5D retro graphics in a 3D space
INVADER NARRATIVE
Turning the alien invasion narrative the player takes the role of a
human invader of aliens instead of the other way around.

Extract the .zip file then run Ruin.exe

vibes doom ..niceso good!
Ran into a few bugs during the final mission, in the final area (Cathedral). Enemies would flicker in and out and framerate slowed down to a crawl. Happy to provide further details upon request.
Just wanted to add though, this is a fantastic project so far and I can't wait to see more.
